Description |
Knights Templar apron with velvet and metal fringe, skull and bones in the center of the inverted triangle lined with red and white gemstones. The apron belonged to William Gurney, member of Morton Commandery No. 4, Past District Deputy Grand Master of First Manhattan District and the founding members of Continental Lodge No. 287, New York. He was the colonel of the 127th New York Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War. |
